18 Oct Labo des Genies & la Fondation Zinsou – Benin

La Fondation Zinsou and le Labo des Génies organize workshops to raise awareness and introduce Beninese children to computer science, algorithmic logic, creative disciplines and code. They can thus discover a new discipline to design, by themselves, programs and games via the computer tool. This one-year program involves 240 children. Each child receives eight weeks of training.

« A group of 10 is cared for by Fondation Zinsou, they are welcomed in a creativity and plastic art workshop called the small brushes. The other 10 children are introduced to the discovery of the computer, computer coding. The combination of these two makes it possible, in fact, to develop the child’s creativity and will open the doors to innovation in a few years’ time, » explains Gilles Kounou, head of the workshops.
